The benefits of Thermal CorkShield

Improved Durability

Our product has elastic properties which means that it can expand and contract depending on the weather. Unlike stucco and paint, our product will not chip or crack.

Lowers Utility Bills

When the cork is applied to the surface of your premise, it creates a thermal barrier that keeps the out side elements, outside. This leads to lower utility bills month after month.

Eliminates Maintenance

Our proprietary formula that was developed over years of research has allowed our product to not only keep the elements out but also hold its shape and colour.

Proven in lab tests

Tested in both extreme heat and cold temperatures. Both times our product showed resistance. At 100 degrees C, the heat did not penetrate the cork. Submerged in liquid nitrogen for over 30 minutes, the cork is still flexible and intact. A true testament to it’s thermal break.

Interior Application

Cork’s hypoallergenic properties makes Thermal CorkShield the ideal material for interior insulation. It does not shed its fibres, reducing dust-build up and perfect for allergy or asthma sufferers.

On average, we lose about 15% of our home’s thermal energy through the floor. Our product can be applied between chase walls or sprayed directly over concrete slabs to create a thermal break. This helps to regulate temperature and reduces noise pollution up to 18dB.
